Abstract

This article is an analysis referring to the existing legal mechanisms in the case of acts of torture during criminal proceedings either through direct
or indirect protection trial. The objective is to determine which is the specific procedural moment to assess the existence of torture, as well as its impact on the probative material, in order to avoid human rights violations and achieve an effective administration of justice during the process.
