Abstract

The cooperation among the three North American countries in terms of security has been problematic. Although there were moments of international cooperation and in some cases that has been proactive: Mexico, the United States and Canada are three different States with different national agendas. This article highlights the most significant problems of the trilateral relationship since the signing of the Free Trade Agreement (1993) to the current security challenges after the victory of Donald Trump, which has impacted the entire North America.
