Abstract
The piracy in the African cost have worried international lawyers because the increase of this offense. International law authorizes countries to exercise its jurisdiction through the figure of “universal jurisdiction”. The question discuss in this paper is if Mexican legal system is in position to fulfill the international obligations assumed..
