El uso legítimo de la fuerza, violencia, inseguridad y política

Abstract
The discussion of the legitimate use of force is intermingled with other discussions of social and political hue that seeks to legitimize state violence in the face of a serious problem of insecurity. It is politics what defines the decision making in the claims of society in the phenomenon of delinquency. But, it would seem that the current high levels of violence are the result of poverty and social inequality, lack of education, corruption and impunity. So why is it intended to use state violence to achieve peace? This article discusses the legitimate use of force in correlation with the political and legal decisions that seek to justify it, questioning the terms of legality and legitimacy, as well as the partisan ideological positions that have made use of it as a combat mechanism towards crime.
