Abstract

The electoral political violence for reasons of gender is a very common phenomenon in the frame work of politics and elections in Mexico that threatens the dignity of women, that is why this article aims to analyze the legal foundations that support the initiatives presented in terms of political violence as a response of the State in the lack of equality between men and women in electoral contests.
