Abstract
Academic studies on the relationship between law, neuroscience and forensic psychopathology have increased in Latin America, especially due to the participation of research centers such as the National Institute of Criminal Sciences, in Mexico. In this text, the author points out the contributions of this institution in terms of the dissemination of these subjects and makes some proposals on what remains to be done to train specialists in them.
