Perspectiva criminológica sobre las adolescentes: examinando los modelos teóricos de la delincuencia femenina

Resumen

Este artículo trata sobre la delincuencia femenina, específicamente de las adolescentes, se analizarán algunas de las teorías criminológicas y la relación causal —explicativa de dicho fenómeno—. Sin embargo, aunque se sabe sobre los factores de riesgo y protección para las adolescentes que participan en conductas delictivas, todavía existen lagunas significativas en la investigación criminológica que obstaculizan el desarrollo y la implementación de enfoques basados en la teoría. Se necesita resaltar la importancia de realizar investigaciones sobre el tema de delincuencia femenina, contemplando el aumento que existe de las adolescentes en el sistema de justicia, a fin de desarrollar estrategias efectivas de prevención e intervención de acuerdo con sus necesidades.
